This family home required updates to better meet the needs of its homeowners and create a more modern, functional space. The existing style felt outdated, so we focused on transforming the home with a warmer, more contemporary design. To achieve this, we combined white cabinetry and wood accents with a bold, warm blue kitchen island. Clean lines and carefully chosen details further elevated the home’s modern appeal.

The homeowner also wanted to create a dedicated workspace for remote work. To accommodate this, we added a thoughtfully placed office extension just off the kitchen. This location provided a quiet, well-lit environment while maintaining a sense of separation from the main living areas, ensuring the office remained bright and inviting throughout the day.

Organization was a key consideration for this family, especially with young children. In the mudroom, we installed mesh lockers to help air out the kids' sports gear and reduce clutter. The open floor plan also improved the flow of the home, making it easier for the homeowner to keep an eye on the kids from almost any room, while promoting a sense of connection and spaciousness throughout the living areas.
